ALA Award Winners Announced Today!!

The American Library Association has chosen the 2013 Printz, Newbery, Caldecott, Morris and Theodore Geisel awards!

2013 Printz Winner: In Darkness by Nick Lake


Four Printz honor books were chosen:

2013 Newbery Winner:  The One And Only Ivan

2013 Caldecott Award Winner:

Five Caldecott Honor Books Were Chosen:

The 2013 William C. Morris Award, which honors a book written for young adults by a previously unpublished author, was awarded to: 
Seraphina by Rachel Hartman 

The 2013 Theodore Geisel Award Winner:
